Black Beans w/ Garlic & Onion

Standard
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • ½ onion, finely chopped
  • 1 can (15.5 oz.) black beans
  • Pinch of cayenne
  • Pinch of ground cumin
  • 1 bay leaf, optional

In a sm. Saucepan, sauté olive oil, garlic, and onion until onion is translucent. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for at least 10 min. Remove the bay leaf. *This is great over rice or as a side.
