Spinach & Cream Cheese Wontons

  • Wonton wrappers
  • 8 oz. softened cream cheese
  • 12 oz. frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • Cooking spray
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • ½ tsp. pepper
  • Pinch of salt
  • Dixie cup of water, for edges

*These are better off made well-ahead, as the process is very time consuming!* Preheat oven to 375º. Mix together all ingredients, except the wonton wrappers, oil, and water. Place a tsp. or 2 of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper, and fold in half so it makes a triangle. Dip your fingers in water, and run along edges to secure. Line cookie sheet w/ nonstick foil or silicone baking mat. Place wontons on sheet, and spray w/ cooking spray. Bake for about 10-15 min., or until wrappers are golden.
